We are located at Unit No. 2 on Ganesh Galli, which is in Bhanushaliwadi along Aslafa Road in Ghatkopar West. If you’ve ever walked through the lanes here, you know it’s a real maze. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a while now, mostly dealing with various food and beverage items. The space is pretty tight, so we have to be careful with how we stack the boxes and where we put the equipment. There is always a lot of activity on Aslafa Road, and the sound of rickshaws and people talking is just part of our background noise. We start the day by clearing the floor and checking the inventory. It’s not a fancy corporate office; it’s more of a workshop where we actually get our hands dirty. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the orders going out. Sometimes the rain makes the galli a bit muddy, which makes loading the goods a bit of a challenge, but we just put on our boots and get on with it. We have a small team of local people who know the area well. We don’t spend time on big meetings or planning sessions. We just look at what needs to be done today and we do it. It’s straightforward work and we’ve gotten pretty good at managing the cramped quarters over the years.
