Everest International

Our workplace is situated in Goregaon West, specifically in the 4 Bungalows area. We occupy units 322 and 325. It’s a pretty standard commercial space where a lot of different things are happening at once. Since we are Everest International, we deal with things that come and go across borders, so there is always a lot of paperwork to fill out. You will often see stacks of documents on the desks and people arguing about shipping dates or customs forms. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some basic desks, a few chairs that have seen a lot of use, and a coffee machine that gets worked pretty hard every morning. The 4 Bungalows area is quite lively, so there is always a bit of background noise from the traffic and the local shops. We don't really do much in the way of decorating the place because we are usually too busy focusing on the logistics side of things. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the numbers match up. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, and the office feels much bigger when it’s quiet. We have been here for a while and most of the people in the building know us by now. It’s just a regular spot where we come to do our jobs and then head home. No frills, just the usual daily grind of international trade work. We just keep our heads down and work through the lists.
