We’ve been here at Krishna Saraswati Sadan for a while now. It's right opposite Konkan Nagar on Dilip Gupte Road. People usually find us easily if they know Mahim West. The shop isn't fancy or anything, just a regular place where we keep our stuff. We open up in the morning, get the shutters up, and start the day. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets loud, but that’s just how it is in Mumbai. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We don't really do big ads or posters. Usually, someone walks in because they were passing by or a friend told them to stop here. There is a lot of dust sometimes because of the construction nearby, so we spend a good amount of time just cleaning the shelves. We have been in this spot for years. It’s a small space, 7/B, but it fits what we need. You’ll see the sign from the main road. If you hit the turn near Konkan Nagar, you've gone too far. We keep things pretty simple here. No big meetings or corporate talk, just us doing the work and making sure people get what they came for. It gets humid in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. That’s about it for our little corner of Mahim. We just keep at it day after day. It's been a journey since we first moved in.
