In the middle of Mumbai-81, you will find our office at B/109, Sanskaar. It’s part of Neelam Nagar Phase II. It’s a residential neighborhood, which gives our work day a bit of a quieter feel than if we were in the middle of a business district. We have been here at Essar for a while, and the place has become quite familiar to us. The office is just a plain room with the basic things we need to get our work done. We have a few desks, some chairs that are a bit squeaky, and the usual office equipment. We don’t have a big sign outside or a fancy entrance. It’s just a door in a building. We spend our time answering emails, making phone calls, and keeping the records straight. There isn't any corporate talk here. We just speak like normal people and focus on the job at hand. Sometimes the water in the building is a bit temperamental, or the power goes out for a minute, but we just deal with it and keep going. We know the security guys at the gate and the delivery drivers who come by every day. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have any big goals to change the world; we just want to do our daily work well and go home to our families. It’s a simple life in Neelam Nagar, and we are quite content with that.
