Essar Steel Ltd

We've been at 3 Edward Criado Chawl on Malpa Hill for a good while now. It’s a busy spot near Azad Road here in Andheri. Dealing with steel isn't exactly clean work, but we get through the day-to-day tasks. Most people around here know where we are because of the landmark. It's just a regular office space in a crowded part of Mumbai, nothing fancy or corporate about it. We handle the paperwork and the orders that come through Essar Steel Ltd from this small room. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but that’s just life in this part of town. The building is older, one of those traditional chawls, so space is a bit tight. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. Usually, it's just us answering the phones and keeping track of the inventory logs. It’s honest work. If you’re coming from the main road, you have to look closely for the sign. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here at the same address. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that, just a desk and some files. Most of our time goes into making sure the steel gets where it needs to go without too much fuss. That's pretty much who we are and what we do every day.
