Our place is at Ghia Mansion on Carmichael Road. We are on the second floor, in Flat No. 2S. The official address lists it under M.L Dahanukar, and it is right in the heart of Mumbai. Epiq Capital Investment Advisory Llp is basically a small group of us working out of this old building. It has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint here and there. Carmichael Road is usually quiet, which is a nice change from the rest of the city. We do advisory work for people looking to manage their capital. We don't have a big reception area or anything. It’s just an office where we sit and go through numbers and market trends all day. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall nearby when we need a break. We have been here for a while and we know the building staff pretty well. It is a comfortable spot to work. We don't try to sound like some big international firm. We are just local people who know a thing or two about investments. The office feels more like a study than a corporate suite. We keep things pretty informal among ourselves, focusing on the tasks we have on our plates. It is a decent way to spend the workday in a part of Mumbai that still feels a bit like the old days. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
