E-Nxt Financials Pvt Ltd. is located on the 6th floor of Building Number 16. We are in the Old Mhada Colony, specifically in Pratiksha Nagar in Sion. Being on the 6th floor means we have a bit of a view, mostly of other rooftops and the busy streets below. The elevator in this building is a bit slow and sometimes it makes a strange clanking sound, so we just wait patiently. Our office, unit 611, is where we handle all the financial paperwork. It is a typical Mumbai office with lots of files stacked up on the shelves. We have about ten desks and it can get a little crowded when everyone is in at the same time. The air conditioning works okay but we usually keep a window cracked open too. Sion is a very busy area, so there is always the sound of horns and traffic coming up from the street. We usually eat our lunch at the desks while we talk about our weekends. There isn’t a formal reception area, just a desk near the door where someone sits. We do a lot of data entry and number crunching. It is honest work and we have a good routine going. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s a solid place to work. We don’t have any polished marketing stuff on the walls. It’s just a place where we get through the daily tasks and go home.
