Envis Division, Env. Department, Mantralaya

Our office is over at Sakshi Park-II in New Panvel. We are in Building Number 2, specifically in room C-202. It’s out on Matheran Road, so it's a bit away from the main rush of the city. We work as the Envis Division under the Environment Department at Mantralaya. Being out here in Malewadi makes for a different pace than being right in the middle of things. We just come in every day and get to work on whatever is on the desk. The building is pretty standard, and we’ve made our space functional. We don't really do much in the way of decoration or anything like that. It’s about the work. Sometimes the commute can be a bit long depending on where people are coming from, but the area is alright. We focus on our specific tasks here. It’s a government-related setup, so there’s always a lot of forms and procedures to follow. We try to keep things organized as best as we can. It’s just a group of us in this office trying to keep the department moving forward. We aren't looking for attention, just doing the job that needs doing from our spot in New Panvel. It’s a quiet enough place to get things finished. We've been here for a bit and know the local surroundings well enough now. The weather here is a bit nicer than deeper in the city, which is a small plus for us working here.
