El Daggoy Trading - India

El Daggoy Trading - India is located right across from the main gate of IIT in Powai. It is a very active area with all the students and the traffic always moving along the main road. We have a small space that serves as our base for trading. It isn't very large, so we have to be clever with how we use the room we have. There are desks crammed in and shelves full of various samples and documents. We deal with a lot of different products, so things can look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we have our own system. Being in Powai is convenient because everything we need is close by. We spend a lot of time responding to inquiries and checking on the status of our current trades. The office has a bit of a hum to it, mostly from the computers and the air conditioning unit. We aren't big on corporate culture or fancy titles. We just call each other by name and work together to solve whatever problem pops up that day. Sometimes a shipment is late or a price changes, and we have to scramble to fix it. It's a lot of manual work, double-checking figures and making sure the shipping addresses are written correctly. We enjoy the energy of the area, even if the commute can be a bit of a headache sometimes. It’s just us doing our best to keep the trading business going from our little spot in Mumbai.
