Eagle Tempo Services

Eagle Tempo Services is located in 503, Gandhi Bhavan CHS on Dr D B M Grant Road. We are right on the Railway Parallel Road, which is pretty easy to spot if you are near the Lamington Police Station in Kumara Park East. Things are always moving around here because of the traffic and the trains passing by constantly. We spend most of our mornings organizing the drivers and figuring out which tempo goes where. It is a lot of phone calls and checking maps to avoid the worst of the city jams. Some days are completely chaotic when everyone wants to move their furniture or boxes at the exact same hour. Our office isn't very big, mostly just desks and a lot of logbooks scattered around. We have a few regular guys who handle the loading and unloading, and they’ve been with us for a long time. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and we have to worry about keeping everything dry under the tarps. It is a bit of a grind, dealing with flat tires or engine trouble, but that’s just how this transport business goes. We don't do anything fancy here. We just show up, load the stuff, and drive it to where it needs to go. It gets noisy with the police station next door and the station nearby, but we like being in the middle of all the action. We try to keep our trucks in good shape, even if they look a bit worn out from all the daily trips.
