Duruelo Convent High School

Our school, Duruelo Convent High School, is located on Road No 24 in the T.P.S Iii area of Bandra West. Bandra is a busy place, and our corner is no different. There are always people moving around, and the shops nearby are always open. The school is a bit of a landmark for the families living in this part of the suburb. We have a modest building that’s been here for years. Every morning, the street fills up with parents dropping off their daughters. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes with the narrow roads. We spend a lot of our time making sure everything is tidy and ready for the day. The hallways are narrow but they get the job done. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day—the traffic, the vendors, and the people chatting. It’s a very local feel. We don’t have a massive campus, but we make the most of what we have. During the monsoon, we’re always checking for leaks or puddles in the yard. It’s just part of the routine. The staff knows most of the neighbors, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Even with all the new cafes and boutiques opening up around Bandra, we’re still here doing our thing. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place where we just focus on getting through the lessons and keeping things safe. When the final bell goes, the street gets chaotic for a bit and then it’s back to normal.
