Durga Steel Products

Durga Steel Products is tucked away in the Satya Bahadur Singh Compound in the 7 Bungalows area of Dahisar. It is an industrial kind of place, so you will hear a lot of banging and metal clanging if you walk by. We work with steel, which is heavy and dirty work. Our workshop has seen better days, and there is grease on almost every surface. We do not mind it, though. It is the kind of environment we are used to. We started out with just a couple of machines and we have slowly added more over the years. We do not have a fancy front office for meetings. Usually, we just talk to people right there on the shop floor while we are working. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. We just drink plenty of water and keep moving. Our neighbors in the compound are mostly other small workshops, so we all know the struggle of keeping things running. Sometimes a machine breaks down or we run out of a certain type of rod, and we have to scramble to fix it. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. We just take the raw steel and turn it into something useful. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. That is about as much as anyone needs to know.
