Our office is on the fourth floor of Windsor House, which is located on CST Road in Kalina, Santacruz East. It is Room 401. If you know the Kalina area, you know how the traffic can get on CST Road, especially during the rains. We spend our days up here working on different food ingredients and enzymes. It is a lot of technical stuff, but we try to keep it down to earth. The elevator in Windsor House is usually busy, so we end up meeting people from the other companies in the building. Our space is divided between the office desks and the areas where we handle the product samples. It is not a big corporate lounge; it is a working office with stacks of papers and lab reports. We see a lot of visitors coming in for meetings, mostly people from the food industry. Sometimes we go down to the local shops for a snack when the afternoon slump hits. The view from the fourth floor is not anything special, just more buildings and the busy street below. We have got a small team here, and everyone knows what they need to do. We do not go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just focus on the science of the food and making sure the orders are accurate. It is a steady job in a busy part of Mumbai, and we have been at this address for quite a while.
