Drunken Monkey

I work over at Drunken Monkey on the 4th Cross in Andheri West. It is a bit tucked away in the 1st Stage area. Most people find us because they are looking for something different to drink. The shop is small and we have a lot of fruit crates sitting around most of the time. It smells like oranges and bananas in here which is nice. We spend a lot of time cleaning the blenders and making sure the counters are not sticky. It is a fast-paced place, especially in the afternoons when students come by after their classes. The street outside is usually full of parked bikes and people walking their dogs. It is not a very formal place. We wear our own clothes and just get to work. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is common around here. I like the vibe of this part of Andheri. It is lively. We don't have a big mission or anything. We just make the drinks and hand them over. Some days are better than others. When it is raining hard, nobody comes in and we just sit and watch the water on the road. But when the sun is out, we are busy from start to finish. It is just a regular job in a regular shop. We keep things moving and try to stay cool in the heat.
