We’ve been over here at Coral Classic on 20th Road for a good while now. Our office is on the fifth floor, so we spend a lot of time waiting for the lift or just staring out at the street when things get a bit quiet. Shipping is a lot of paper and even more phone calls, honestly. We mostly deal with the logistics side of things, making sure things actually get where they need to go without getting stuck in some port somewhere. It gets pretty loud in the office when everyone is on the phone at once trying to track down a container. Some days are just a big mess of tracking numbers and schedules, and it feels like the work never really stops. We aren't a huge fancy operation with a glass lobby or a receptionist. It’s just us and our desks and a lot of files piled up in the corners. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we just ignore it and keep working. People come by to drop off documents and we just keep the files moving. It’s practical, plain work. We know the neighborhood well and the tea stall downstairs usually knows our order by heart. There’s not much more to say than that. We just show up every morning, handle the shipping routes, and try to make sure no one’s cargo gets lost in the shuffle. It’s just a regular office doing regular shipping work every day of the week, nothing more and nothing less.
