Our office is located on the fifth floor of Scorpio House, right across from the Galleria in Powai. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy Hiranandani Business Park gets during the week. It’s a nice area with lots of cafes and trees, which is a nice change from the more crowded parts of the city. Being up on the fifth floor gives us a decent view of the street below, which is usually packed with cars and people heading to lunch. We do a lot of work with silicones and materials that go into all sorts of products, but day-to-day, it’s mostly about managing the accounts and talking to the technical teams. The office has that typical hum of computers and people on phone calls. We aren’t really into the whole corporate jargon thing, even though we are part of a larger name. We just show up, handle the paperwork, and try to get things right for the people who buy from us. Sometimes the lifts take forever in the morning when everyone is arriving at once, so we've learned to be patient. There is always someone making a round of tea or coffee in the pantry. It’s a professional space but we try to keep things relaxed among the staff so it doesn't feel too stiff. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around Scorpio House. It feels like a solid place to get the job done.
