Dodia Steel Works

If you are looking for Dodia Steel Works, you have to head over to the Malad Industrial Units in Kachpada. We are specifically at B-23(G). It is one of those busy areas in Malad West where there is always something going on in the streets. You can hear the sounds of metal hitting metal long before you actually step inside our door. The space is not huge, but we make it work for everything we need to do. Most days, the floor is covered in scraps and the air smells like cut steel. It gets quite hot during the summer months, especially back in the workshop area, but we are used to it. The Kachpada area is pretty crowded, so getting trucks in and out can be a real headache some afternoons. Dodia Steel Works has been part of this block for a good bit of time. We are not trying to be anything we are not. It is a shop where people work hard and things get made. Sometimes the lights flicker when the heavy machinery kicks on, but that is just part of the charm of an old industrial unit. Most of the guys here live nearby or take the train into Malad West every day. It is a regular routine. We start early, take our tea breaks when we can, and try to keep the workflow moving despite the narrow lanes outside our gate at B-23(G). The work keeps us busy from morning until late.
