You can find Dodia Steel Industries at number 44 in Dahisar East. This isn't an office where people sit around in suits. It’s a workshop, and it sounds like one too. There’s the constant noise of metal hitting metal and the hum of the machines we use. We’ve been here in Dahisar East for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood grow and change around us. The workshop itself is a bit dusty and it can get quite hot when we’re busy, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small corner with a desk and a phone where we take orders, but most of the time we are out on the floor. Our clothes are usually stained with grease and we don't worry too much about keeping the place looking pretty. We just care about getting the steel work done right. We don’t use any fancy sales pitches or marketing tricks. If someone needs something made out of steel, they come to us, we tell them the price, and we get to work. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We value those long-term relationships more than anything else. It’s hard, physical work, but we like it that way. We’re just a bunch of guys who know how to work with steel, and we’re happy to stay right here at number 44.
