Dinesh Plating

We've been at 36, Wajid Ali Compound for a long time now. It’s right there on 90 Feet Road in Andheri East, not too far from the Rashtrwadi Jansampark Karyalaya. If you know the area, you probably know Dilshad Cafe; we’re right near that spot. The shop gets pretty busy with the plating work, and there’s always something being moved around or dipped. It’s a bit of a dusty area but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We mostly just focus on getting the work done every day. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Our space isn't very big, but we make it work for what we need. Most of us here have been doing this for years, so we just know the routine. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular workshop where we handle metal parts and get them finished. We open up early and stay until the work for the day is finished. There are days when we work late if there’s a big pile of stuff waiting. We don't really have a big team, just a few guys who know their way around the tanks and the chemicals. You can find us easily if you look for the cafe first. It’s a practical setup, nothing more than what’s needed to do the job right. We see a lot of regulars from the neighborhood who drop by with small jobs.
