Dinesh Foundry

We are over here in Andheri East, though we also have some roots in the Manjalpur area. Working at a foundry is tough business, mostly because of the heat from the furnaces. At Dinesh Foundry, we spend our days pouring molten metal and making sure the molds are set just right. It is loud and sweaty work, but we have been doing it for a long time now. We don't have a big corporate office or people in suits walking around. Most of us are in boots and heavy shirts all day. The traffic in Andheri can be a real headache when we are trying to get shipments out, but we manage somehow. We deal with lots of different casting parts, some big and some small. There is a certain way the air smells when the metal is hot, and you just get used to it after a few years. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out perfect, so we just melt it down and start over until it is right. We focus on the work at hand rather than making fancy brochures. If you come by, you might find us busy with a client or just cleaning up the sand from the floor. It is a simple operation where we value the skills of our workers more than anything else. We just keep our heads down and do the casting work every single day. There is always something to pour or a mold to prepare.
