Our place is at 38 Mistry Industrial Complex on Cross Road ‘A’. It is deep in the MIDC area of Andheri East, so you can imagine the noise and the constant movement of heavy vehicles throughout the day. Dharia & Switchgear & Controls Pvt. Ltd. has been tucked away in this complex for quite some time. The building itself is one of those older industrial structures that has seen better days, but it holds up well enough for what we do. Getting here in the morning is always a bit of a challenge with the Andheri traffic being what it is, but once you are inside the gates, it is just the usual routine. The workshop floor is where most of the action happens. It usually smells a bit like metal and dust, which is pretty standard for this kind of work environment. We do not have a lot of extra space, so every corner is packed with something useful or an old box of parts. The staff mostly lives nearby or takes the local train, so there is always a lot of talk about the commute during our tea breaks. We share the complex with several other companies, so there is a bit of a community feel among the workers here. It is a gritty and hardworking part of town. We do not put on any airs about it.
