Brass Casting Works

You can find Brass Casting Works over at Room No. 7 in the Indira Chawl. We are located in Mukund Nagar, specifically on Sant Rohidas Mard in the Dharavi area. Working in a place like Dharavi means space is always a bit tight, but we’ve made Room No. 7 work for us perfectly. We spend our days dealing with metal and heat. It is a very hands-on kind of job, and we usually end the day with dirty hands and tired faces. The chawl is a lively place with neighbors always around, so it never feels lonely while we are working. We have been doing this casting work for a long time, and we know the street and the people here quite well. Mukund Nagar has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. The machines can be a bit loud and the room gets hot when the furnace is going, but that is just how the job is. We don't have a big office or a reception area. If you come by, you’ll likely see us right there in the middle of a project. Sant Rohidas Mard is often busy with carts and people moving goods back and forth. We just keep to our routine at Brass Casting Works, making sure each piece of brass is handled properly. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do here in Indira Chawl.
