Dexter Brewlabs Private Limited

Our workspace for Dexter Brewlabs Private Limited is on the ground floor of the Shalimar Industrial Estate. We are at G/34, which is located on Andhra Valley Road in the Matunga Labour Camp area. It’s a very industrial part of Mumbai, so there is always a lot of noise and activity around us. The building is older and has that specific smell of grease and metal that you find in these kinds of estates. We spend our days inside the lab, working on different brews and testing out ideas. It’s not a clean, white-walled laboratory like you see in movies. It’s a working space with tools, bottles, and hoses everywhere. Sometimes it gets quite hot in there, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof. We aren't a big corporation, just a small group of people who are really into the science of brewing. We often stay late because a batch needs watching or something isn't sitting right. The neighbors in the industrial estate are mostly other small workshops, so we all kind of look out for each other. It’s a tough environment but it suits us. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone to answer the phones in a professional way. We just do the work and let the results speak for themselves. It’s honest and it’s what we know. There is always a lot to clean up at the end of the day, but that is just part of the process.
