You can find us at Shop No. 2 in the Mali Bhawan building. This is located at Building No. 4 on the 8th Khetwadi Lane. If you are familiar with the Khetwadi area, you know that the lanes are narrow and full of all kinds of small businesses. We deal with metal here. The shop is not very large and it is usually filled with the smell of iron and copper. We have stacks of metal pieces and rods leaning against the walls. Mali Bhawan is an old building and it has been part of this lane for a long time. The neighborhood is very close-knit and all the shopkeepers know each other by name. Every morning we have to move some things around just to make space for the new stock that comes in. It is a bit like a puzzle because the shop is so cramped. We do not have any fancy displays or polished floors. If a customer wants to see a particular type of metal, we just pull it out of a crate for them to look at. The local tea seller comes by a few times a day, which is always a good break for us. It is a noisy and dusty environment, but that is just the way it is in Khetwadi. We do not really use much technology here, just our hands and some basic tools to get the metal ready for people.
