Our main workspace for Della Tecnica Architects & Int Designers Pvt. Ltd. is in Della Tower, which is tucked away in the Parsee Colony area of Dadar East. It’s quite a nice spot, near Mahavir Nagar and Jame Jamshed Road. The neighborhood has a lot of old-world charm with its big trees and older buildings, which is a nice change from the rest of the city. Della Tower itself is where we spend most of our waking hours. Inside, the office is pretty busy. There are rolls of drawings everywhere and different material samples like stone and wood piled on the tables. It’s not particularly organized, but we know where everything is. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around since the beginning and some newer faces. We aren't really into the corporate vibe, so the atmosphere is pretty casual. We talk a lot, usually about whatever project is currently on the boards. Sometimes we walk down Jame Jamshed Road to grab some lunch or just to get some air. Being in Dadar East makes it easy for people to reach us from all over Mumbai, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare on certain days. It’s a solid, functional space where we focus on the work at hand. We don't have fancy mission statements on the walls, just a lot of hard work happening at every desk.
