Deepak Steel Co

Deepak Steel Co is located on Mahakali Road, specifically at Unit 22. It is a very industrial part of the area, so there is always the sound of metal clanging and trucks idling outside. We spend our days surrounded by steel. The air usually smells a bit like iron and grease, which is just part of the job. It’s a practical space, mostly used for storage and handling the actual material. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll probably find us wearing work clothes and checking inventory lists. It gets pretty dusty, so we are always wiping down the desks, but the dust always comes back. We handle a lot of different steel products and it requires a bit of muscle to move things around. The sun hits the roof of the unit pretty hard in the middle of the day, making it quite warm inside. We usually have a small break for lunch and then get right back to loading or unloading. There isn’t much time for anything else. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the orders that come into Mahakali Road are handled properly. It’s a straightforward business. We know the material well and we know the local routes for the trucks. It’s just honest work in a busy industrial zone. We’ve been at Unit 22 for a while now and we just keep at it every single day.
