Deepa Metallizing & Grinding Works

Sakinaka is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it at Mustafa Market. The 90 Feet Road is constantly full of trucks and bikes. Our shop is at number 3. We spend the whole day grinding and metallizing different parts. It is noisy work and there’s always a bit of grit in the air. The market is a busy place to be, so there’s never a quiet moment. We’ve been at this for a while now. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend time fixing them instead of doing the client work. That's just part of the life. We have a small crew and we all know what needs to get done. We don't spend much on decorations or making the place look pretty. It’s a workshop. There are stacks of metal everywhere and the floor is never really clean for long. Customers come in with things that need smoothing out or coating, and we just get to it. Sometimes we eat lunch right at the workbench if there’s a rush. The heat from the processes can be a lot, but we got used to it. It’s a good spot to be if you want to be near where the heavy work gets done. We just keep the wheels turning and try to finish the jobs on time. It is a long day but it is what we do.
