Dashmesh Travels

If you walk down Powai Service Road, you’ll find us tucked away in Grewal Niwas. We are right opposite the IIT Main Gate, which is a landmark everyone around here uses to find their way. Dashmesh Travels is basically a small office where we handle bookings and talk to people about their trips. It’s not a large operation, just a few of us sitting at desks with phones that don't seem to stop ringing some days. The traffic on the service road can be a bit much, especially in the mornings when the students are heading into the institute. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, so we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. Inside the office, there are just some stacks of papers, a few maps on the walls, and the sound of the ceiling fan clicking away. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure drivers are where they need to be. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a bus is late or a route changes, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's a basic setup without any of those modern glass partitions or expensive furniture. We prefer it that way because it feels more like a local spot. People drop by to ask questions or just to check prices for a weekend getaway. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in our own way, day after day.
