Dark Coffee Enterprises

Our place is over in Malad West, right on the 80 Feet Road in that Jaikirti Chamber building. It is at number 12 in the 2nd Stage area. If you come by, you can usually smell the beans from the street before you even see the sign. We spend a lot of time sorting through sacks and making sure the roasting machine is running at the right temperature. It gets really hot in the back room especially during the summer months. We handle a lot of different beans and sometimes the bags are heavy to move around. It is a bit cramped in here with all the equipment and the storage boxes piled up to the ceiling. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a small operation trying to get things out on time. The floor is usually covered in a bit of coffee dust which is hard to sweep up. We deal with various shops and people who just want a good bag for their kitchen. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the Malad traffic and everything gets delayed, which makes the morning a bit stressful. We just drink a lot of our own product to keep going through the long afternoons. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors are used to us. It's just a coffee business.
