Dancesport India

Dancesport India is located over at Mumbai Central in the A Wing on M G Road. It’s a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise coming from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our days teaching different styles of dance, mostly focusing on the technical side of things without making it feel like a chore. The studio is a decent size for Mumbai standards, though it can feel a bit tight when we have a full group in for practice. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone fancy running the front desk. It’s usually just us balancing the books and cleaning the mirrors after a long day of rehearsals. People come here from all over Mumbai because we’ve been around for a while and they know we take the steps seriously. The floor has seen a lot of wear and tear, but that’s just how it goes when people are practicing their footwork for hours. We don't put on any acts or try to look like a high-end club. It’s just a place to learn and get better. Sometimes we stay late just to get a routine right or to help someone who is struggling with a specific turn. It’s hard work, but the atmosphere is honest and we just keep things moving one day at a time.
