Dahisar Packers & Movers

We spend a lot of time around the 3rd Kumbharwada area here in Dahisar. It’s usually pretty loud because we are so close to the Western Express Highway. Most days start with checking the trucks and making sure we have enough tape and boxes. Moving things is hard work and my back usually hurts by five o'clock. We’ve been at this address, 41621, for a while now. People stop by when they are stressed about shifting their homes. We just pack the plates and move the beds. Sometimes the traffic on the highway makes things slow, but that is just how it is in Mumbai. The guys who work here are mostly local. We don't have a fancy office or anything. It's just a place where we keep the packing materials and wait for the next job to come in. There’s a lot of dust sometimes from the road. We try to keep things organized but when you have fifty boxes and a piano, it gets messy fast. Dahisar Packers & Movers isn't some huge corporation. It's just us doing the lifting. We know the shortcuts around the neighborhood which helps when the main roads are blocked. If you walk past the Kumbharwada lane, you’ll probably see us loading a tempo. It's repetitive but it keeps us busy. We just focus on getting the furniture from one door to the next without too much trouble. It's a living. I guess we’ve been doing this long enough to know where the bumps are.
