Ami Metals India

Our place, Ami Metals India, is tucked away in the Shukla Compound. It’s behind Pavan Nagar and near the Datt Mandir, just off the Western Express Highway in Dahisar East. Finding us can be a little tricky the first time because of all the small lanes, but once you’re here, you’ll see we’ve got a lot of metal stock piled up. It’s a bit of a crowded space, honestly. We have stacks of sheets and rods everywhere. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a working warehouse. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks that come off the highway. The ground is uneven and the roof is a bit low in some parts, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with local builders and small shops that need specific cuts of metal. My cousin usually handles the orders while I stay in the back making sure everything is where it should be. It’s dusty work and can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t spend much on decorating the place because we’d rather just have more room for stock. It’s a simple setup for people who just want their metal and don’t care about fancy surroundings. We’ve been in this compound for quite a while now and everyone knows us as the metal guys near the mandir.
