Dadar Vidya Mandir

We are over here at Swastik House on L J Road in Mahim West. If you know the area, it's pretty close to Shiv Sena Bhawan. Dadar Vidya Mandir is basically just a place where kids from the neighborhood come to study every morning. The building is right there on the busy road, so there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside, but inside we try to keep things focused on the books. It's an old spot, nothing fancy. The hallways are a bit narrow and the benches have seen better days, but they work. Usually, we open up early because parents drop their children off before heading to work. Most of the teachers have been around for quite a while now. They know the families and which siblings are coming up next through the grades. We don't have a big playground or anything, just the rooms where the learning happens. People sometimes get lost trying to find us since the street is so packed with shops and other buildings, but once you see the sign near the entrance, you're there. It’s a straightforward school where we deal with the daily lessons and exams. Some days are loud, especially when classes let out and everyone is rushing toward the station or the bus stops nearby. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We stick to the schedule and make sure the students have their notebooks ready. That is about it for this place.
