If you are looking for D.R.Bags, you need to head over to the Amina Bhai Building. We are located on the first floor in Room Number 2. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have rolls of fabric and zippers taking up quite a lot of space, but we have a system that works for us. The sound of sewing machines is basically the background noise of our lives here. We have been in this specific spot for quite some time. The building is older and has a lot of character, and we know most of the other people working on our floor. We do not have a fancy receptionist or a place for visitors to sit and wait. Usually, you will just find us at our machines with thread on our clothes and a tape measure nearby. We make all kinds of bags, from simple ones to more complicated designs with lots of different sections. We do not use any high-tech software to figure things out; we mostly just sketch things on scraps of paper and start cutting. It is a very hands-on kind of place. Sometimes the power in the building cuts out, and we just have to take a break or work by the light from the windows. It is not a polished corporate office. It is just a workshop where we try to make things that people can actually use every day.
