D & G Metal Inc.

You will find D & G Metal Inc. at number 16 in the Chander Kiran Building. We are on Nursing Lane, just off the busy S.V. Road in Malad West. Being in Mumbai, space is always a bit tight, so we’ve had to be smart about how we set up our equipment in this building. It’s a lively area with lots of other businesses around us. Our day usually starts early to beat some of the heavy Malad traffic. Inside, it’s mostly about metal work. We have our cutters and shapers, and there is always someone busy at a bench. It isn't a quiet place; there is a constant hum of activity and the clinking of metal pieces. We don't have a big fancy sign or a lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently busy with a machine. Our paperwork is kept in a couple of old filing cabinets in the corner. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several orders need to go out at once, but we've learned to handle the pressure over the years. We take pride in just being a local shop that knows its craft. We eat our lunch together near the window and then it’s back to the metal. It’s a hardworking atmosphere, and we like the rhythm of it. There is not much more to say than that, really.
