I’m located at 36 Fort in the Amar Kunj Society, which is part of Ornet Palace in the Lal Building. My office is on the 3rd floor. The stairs are a bit narrow, and there isn't an elevator that works all the time, so people usually just walk up. The Lal Building is pretty easy to spot because of the color. Inside, it’s a standard office setup with a couple of desks and some filing cabinets. I spend most of my day sitting here doing paperwork and taking calls. It’s a busy part of the Fort area, so there’s always a lot of noise coming up from the street. You can hear the cars honking and people shouting. I have a small window that lets in some light, but it’s mostly fluorescent bulbs in here. The walls are a plain off-white and have some calendars pinned up. I keep a kettle for making tea during the afternoons. It’s a small space, but it’s enough for one person to get work done. I’ve been in this building for several years now, so I know most of the people on the other floors. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up in the lobby, but we sort it out. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a practical place to work. I usually stay until the sun goes down and the traffic starts to thin out a bit before I head home.
