Creative Art

Creative Art is our small shop in the Shreeji Shopping Centre over in Adinathnagar 6. Being in Malad East, there is always a lot of movement and noise around us. The shopping centre is a bit of a maze, but we are at number 6. It is a tight space, and if more than three people walk in at once, it starts to feel very crowded. We mostly handle art supplies and different creative projects for people in the area. Our tables are usually covered in bits of paper, glue, or whatever we are working on that day. My hands are rarely clean by the time lunch rolls around. We don't have any polished displays or professional lighting. We just put our work out on the main counter for people to see. Sometimes we spend more time chatting with the neighbors about the weather or the local news than actually working. It feels like a small community inside the building. We don't have a social media page or any marketing stuff. If someone needs something done, they just drop by and we talk it over. The light in the shop gets a bit dim in the evenings, but we have a couple of extra lamps that we move around. It is an honest way to spend the day, and we like the people who stop in to say hello.
