Mahavir Tube Corporation

Mahavir Tube Corporation is down at No. 240 Nagdevi Street in the Brushwell House building. This is right near the Crawford Market area, which is one of the busiest spots you can imagine. Nagdevi Street is always packed with people looking for hardware and tools. Our shop is narrow and stuffed full of tubes and pipes of all kinds. They are stacked from the floor to the ceiling, and it’s a bit of a struggle to get them down sometimes. We don't have much room for anything else. There’s a small counter where we handle the sales, and it’s usually covered in dust from the metal. The building is quite old and has a lot of character. The stairs are creaky and the walls could use some paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that. We spend our days measuring and cutting tubes for customers who come in. It’s a noisy and crowded area, but it’s where all the action is. We’ve been here for many years and know all the other shopkeepers on the street. We don't have any fancy computers or a big office. We just do things the old-fashioned way with a notebook and a pen. It’s a lot of hard work, but we like being in the middle of the market. When evening comes, we close up and head home like everyone else. It's a busy life but it keeps us going every single day.
