We operate out of Bhatiya Chawl on Datta Pada Road. If you know the Wel Come Hotel in Borivali East, we are right near there, which makes it easy to give directions. It's a busy area, with lots of people moving around all the time outside our door. Our space isn't huge, but it's where we do all our architectural work day in and day out. We've got a couple of sturdy tables and computers tucked into the room. It gets a bit noisy outside with the street traffic and the hotel guests, but you get used to it after a week or so. Most of the work involves sketching out initial ideas and then turning them into proper technical drawings that a builder can actually follow. We see a lot of local folks coming in to ask questions about their houses or small shop renovations. It's a very practical setup we have here. We don't have fancy leather chairs or anything like that. Just regular desks and a lot of different pens and rulers. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit or the internet acts up, but we just work around it. Being in a chawl means we are close to the neighbors, and it feels more like a real community. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or trying to make sense of old building regulations. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from morning till evening.
