Coffee Break

Our place is called Coffee Break and you can find us in the Dreamland Building on New Queens Road. We are at numbers 23-27. This is the Opera House area of Mumbai, with the pincode 400004. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know it is one of the most crowded and noisy places you can imagine. The Dreamland Building has been here for a very long time, and we have been a part of it for many years now. Our space is not very large. We have some heavy wooden tables and the lighting is a bit dim, which makes it feel a bit separated from the bright sun outside. We don't have a fancy coffee machine that makes a lot of noise. We just do things the traditional way. Most of the people who come in are those who work in the diamond district or the nearby shops. They just want a quick place to sit down for a few minutes before heading back into the chaos. The walls have a few scuffs and the floor is a bit worn down from all the feet walking over it. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate goals. We just want to make sure the coffee is hot and the place is open on time. Mumbai is always changing, but our little corner in the Dreamland Building stays pretty much the same. It is just a regular spot for a break in the city.
