Our small office is over in Chembur, specifically in the Laxminagar Society. We are near Shankar Dwal on Mahul Road. Chembur-74 is a place with a lot of history and a lot of traffic. Mahul Road is always busy with trucks and buses, so there’s a bit of dust and noise that we’ve just accepted as part of being here. Cmi is a straightforward operation. We don't have a big sign with lights or anything like that. If you find the society, you find us. The office is just a regular room with some basic furniture. We have a few computers that have seen better days and a printer that occasionally jams when we are in a hurry. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time. We know each other's families and what we like for lunch. We usually order from the local place down the street. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or any of that corporate stuff. We just know what needs to get done each morning and we try to finish it by the evening. Sometimes the monsoon makes the road outside a bit difficult to cross, but we manage. It’s a humble place. We don't pretend to be more than we are. We’re just a local business in a busy part of Mumbai, trying to stay organized and keep our clients satisfied without any unnecessary drama.
