City Tea & Coffee

City Tea & Coffee is tucked away in the Shangrila Arcade, units 5 and 6, over in Matunga East. If you know Matunga, you know how much people here love their brew. We started this little shop because we wanted a place where the tea is always hot and the coffee is always fresh. It’s not a giant cafe with sofas and Wi-Fi. It’s more of a place where you stop by, have a quick cup, and maybe chat with whoever is standing next to you. The arcade stays fairly busy, and we’re right there in the middle of it. We have our regulars who come in at the exact same time every morning. We don't even have to ask what they want anymore. Sometimes we run out of milk or the machine acts up, but that’s just life in a small shop. We try to keep things simple and honest. No fancy syrups or complicated names for the drinks. Just good old tea and coffee like you’d make at home, maybe a bit better if we’re having a good day. It’s a small team here, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We aren't part of some big national chain. We’re just a local Matunga spot where you can get a decent drink without any fuss or high prices.
