Up on the 3rd floor of 2-B/7 in the Navjivan Soci, you’ll find Peacock Realty Financial Consultants. Being in Chembur, it’s always a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, but we don't mind it too much. Our office is a bit tucked away, which is nice because it stays a little quieter than the street level. We deal with a lot of numbers and paperwork here. It’s the kind of stuff that makes your head spin if you do it too long, but we’re used to it. We have a few desks squeezed into the room and a lot of filing cabinets that are probably fuller than they should be. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It’s not the most glamorous work, but someone has to do it. The Navjivan Soci is a familiar landmark for people in this part of Chembur, so it’s not too hard for folks to find us once they get into the building. We’ve got a small window that looks out over the rooftops, which is nice when you need a break from the screen. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the door is unlocked, you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we’re doing. It’s just a regular office where we try to help people figure out their property finances without making it too complicated or difficult to understand.
