Chayan Trading House

We are tucked away on the ground floor of the Andrew Compound in Andheri East. It’s a bit of a maze back here, near the 10th Cross in the 1st Stage area. If you’re looking for Chayan Trading House, you really have to watch the street signs or you’ll miss the turn at 2nd Mani. We deal with trading various goods, mostly moving stuff from one point to another and making sure the inventory stays right. The office is practical, nothing too special to look at. We’ve got boxes coming in and out quite often. It gets a bit dusty with all the movement, but that's part of the trade. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know the local transporters and how to get things moved through Andheri’s traffic, which is never fun. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or big signs. Most of our day is spent checking lists, talking to suppliers, and making sure the ledger is somewhat accurate. It’s an honest way to make a living. We’ve been in this compound for some time now and the neighbors are mostly other small businesses doing the same kind of thing. It’s a working-class vibe. We drink a lot of chai and try to stay on top of the orders. If things are a bit cluttered, it’s just because we’re busy getting things shipped out to where they belong. We just keep things moving every day.
