Chawla Machine Tools

You can find us at 201, Karmastambh on LBS Marg in Vikhroli West. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. Chawla Machine Tools has been operating out of this building for a long time. We deal with various types of machinery and the tools that keep them running. It’s not a huge warehouse, but we pack a lot into the space we have. The elevator in the building can be a bit temperamental, so we’ve carried more heavy boxes up the stairs than I’d like to admit. We aren't the type to wear suits or have big meetings. We’re usually just talking to customers over the phone or helping someone who walked in looking for a specific tool. Vikhroli has changed a lot, but LBS Marg is still as crowded as ever. We try to keep our inventory organized, but with so many different tools and parts, it's a constant battle. We just focus on getting the right tool into the customer's hands so they can get back to their own work. It’s a simple business model that has worked for us. We don't make big promises, we just show you what we have on the shelf. If we don't have it, we usually know someone who does. That’s just how we do things here. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and making sure everything is where it should be.
