This office is right in the middle of the hustle in Mumbai, specifically Jogeshwari East. We are in the A Wing of Vrindavan Morwala Complex, room 303. Being Chartered Accountants, especially being affiliated with Nexia, you might expect something very stiff, but it’s actually quite a busy, cluttered space. Anand Nagar and Majaswadi are right nearby, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. We deal with a lot of numbers every single day. The office has that specific smell of old paper and ink. My desk is usually covered in folders and my computer screen is always full of spreadsheets. It’s a long commute for some of us, but that’s just how Mumbai is. We work through the morning, take a quick break for lunch, and then it’s back to the audits or whatever else is on the schedule. The 400060 area is pretty packed, so finding parking is always a headache for anyone visiting us. We’ve been here at Chaturvedi Shah for a while, and the routine is pretty set. We don't go for big speeches or fancy presentations, we just sit down and get the accounting work done. It’s a lot of double-checking and making sure the math adds up. Sometimes the rain makes everything damp, but the work doesn't stop. It’s just a regular Mumbai professional life for all of us here. We keep our heads down and try to finish the stacks of files before the day ends.
