Chartered

Our place is on S.V.P. Road in Mumbai, right at number 383. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise from the street coming through the windows. The firm name is just Chartered, which is pretty direct, I guess. We’ve been at this 400 004 pin code for quite some time now. Dealing with Maharashtra's tax laws keeps us busy enough throughout the year. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with cabinets. We aren't really the type of people to talk about ourselves in a big way. We just do the accounting and the audit work that comes our way. It gets pretty hot in here in the afternoons, but we keep the files moving. We don't have a website with fancy photos of people in suits shaking hands. It's mostly just us in half-sleeve shirts looking at bank statements. The commute to S.V.P. Road can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours, but we are used to it. We help people with their financial records and try to make sure they don't have any trouble with their filings. It's a lot of routine work, but it's important. We get our tea from the shop downstairs and just keep going until the sun goes down. It's just a normal day at a Mumbai CA office.
