Chandra Steel Art

We've been at Leela Kunj on Sahar Road for a while now. It's Shop No. 1, right in Koldongri. People around Andheri East know us for the steel work we do. Chandra Steel Art isn't a big factory or anything, just a local spot where we get things done. If you're walking down Sahar Road, you'll see the shop. We work with metal every day, making bits and pieces for houses or shops nearby. It gets noisy sometimes, but that’s just how it is with steel work. The shop is small but it fits all our tools and the materials we need for the day. We mostly deal with the folks living around Koldongri who need a gate fixed or some custom steel frames made up. It's just us here, working through the orders as they come in. Sometimes we're busy and things get a little backed up, but we try to keep moving. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning, just the workshop floor and some old wooden benches. It's usually dusty because of all the grinding and cutting, but we keep the machines running. Most of our day is spent measuring twice and cutting once, hopefully. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our spot in Shop No. 1, but we're still here doing the same thing.
