Chandan Steel Industries

You can find us at 51 Girgaon Gadital, right in Praful Colony. We’re tucked into Kale Dorate Nagar at Kapol Niwas. Being near CP Tank Road means there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. Chandan Steel Industries is a place where we deal with a lot of heavy stuff. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the floors have seen better days, but that’s what happens in this trade. We spend most of our time dealing with steel, so things are naturally a bit noisy. It’s not a quiet office job. We’ve got stacks of inventory that sometimes spill out a bit, and we’re always shuffling things around to make room. The neighborhood is an old one, and everyone kind of knows each other. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we’ve seen the area change around us. Some of the old buildings are gone, but we’re still here at Kapol Niwas. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially with all the metal around, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We don’t really do much in the way of decoration. The shop is for working, not for looking pretty. If you drop by, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably busy with some paperwork or a delivery truck.
