Our business is tucked away in the 400068 area of Mumbai, which covers parts of Dahisar. It is a crowded part of the city but we manage to find our own space here. The office isn't anything special to look at, just four walls and the equipment we need. In Maharashtra, the humidity can get to you, so we usually have a small AC unit rattling away in the corner. We spend most of our hours here dealing with various partners and local contacts. There is always a stack of documents on the main table that never seems to get smaller. We eat our lunch together at the same table most days. The noise from the street below is constant, with rickshaws and cars honking all the time. It’s just the sound of Mumbai, really. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room. If someone comes by, they just pull up a plastic chair and sit with us. We’ve been operating in this zone for several years now and we know where to get the best snacks on the corner. The walls are covered with a few calendars and some old notes taped up. It is a functional place where we get the job done. We don't spend much on decor because we are usually too busy to notice it.
